Idol favourite in spa romp

Idol spunk Matt Corby has been snapped by paparazzi photographers canoodling with fellow finalist Brianna Carpenter.

The two were caught out when romping in the backyard spa of the $15 million Sydney Eastern Suburbs mansion where the 11 remaining Idol finalists are housed.

Corby is the youngest competitor ever in the history of Australian Idol at 16. His new love interest, the decidedly quirky Carpenter, has been a hit with the public with her unique dress and song choice.

On Monday, Holly Weinert, was the first of the ‘final twelve’ contestants to be eliminated from the show. The 20-year-old country Victorian girl was criticised after choosing a little known song Standing In The Way Of Control by punk band The Gossip.

Fellow Idols Jacob Butler, Natalie Gauci and Tarisai Vushe were all praised for their performances by Idol expert and LIVENEWS.com.au commentator Cosima De Vito.

Australian Idol airs on Network Ten at 7.30pm Sunday and Monday.
