Talent show yet to name third judge
A third judge will soon be named to join Red Symons and Dannii Minogue on the Seven Network's new entertainment contest, Australia's Got Talent.
Seven confirmed that Symons, the former "bad guy" judge on Hey Hey, It's Saturday's "Red Faces" segment, would join Minogue on a panel that will assess an array of Aussie talent from Australin Talent.
The former Skyhooks guitarist was renowned for his acerbic wit and nasty comments on the dubious talent segment, which has since spawned a number of clip show specials.
Australia's Got Talent producers seem to be cutting it fine in securing a third judge. The show is scheduled to air this month, although a specific date hasn't been named.
It will be pre-recorded in a Melbourne studio with former Sunrise weatherman Grant Denyer reprising his hosting role from Seven's celebrity singing show It Takes Two.
Judges previously tipped to join the regular cast since the show was announced have included Ian "Dicko" Dickson, who has since re-signed to be a fourth judge on Network Ten's Australian Idol, and talent manager Harry M Miller.
Red shoud be great, he's very quick witted, and very cutting too at times. Should be interesting. :P
Thanks Rhonda :)
I have a friend who's doing something for that. :)
