Noll proves his post-Idol popularity
Monday, 21 August 2006
SHANNON Noll brought his big, black, shiny car to Bendigo at the weekend.
The 2003 Australian Idol runner-up performed to more than 1500 of his screaming fans at the Schweppes Centre on Saturday night.
Noll was supported by 2005 Australian Idol finalist Dan England in his Saturday show, and played at the St Arnaud Town Hall last night.

He is touring nationally to promote his sophomore album, Lift, which has sold more than 140,000 copies.
Noll has had three singles that have reached number one on the Australian music charts - What About Me, Learn To Fly, and Shine.
This is more than any other singer from the Australian Idol series, except Anthony Callea, who also has three.
Noll's debut album, That's What I'm Talking About, spent four weeks at the top of the charts, and has been certified five times platinum, equalling more than 350,000 copies sold.
The latest single from Lift, titled Lonely, will be released on August 26.
