Once were lovers (briefly) ... Rob "Millsy" Mills with Paris Hilton
ROB "Millsy" Mills has landed himself in a Munich cop shop after being charged with assaulting a fellow Aussie tourist who paid him out about Paris Hilton.
Less than a month after Millsy's Mum Bronwyn told Confidential the failed Idol had fled Australia after repeatedly being teased by members of the public about his one night stand with the hotel heiress, the singer has faced the same ridicule all the way over in Germany.
The dust-up happened in a beer hall after the Australia versus Brazil soccer match at the World Cup last week.
Millsy was approached to be in a photo and some drunken but friendly jostling went on until the tourist's "200-pound" mate started teasing him about Hilton with whom he shared a brief affair when the socialite was in Melbourne for the 2003 Melbourne Cup.
"He started asking filthy questions about you know what, and something in me just clicked," Millsy writes in his personal travel blog.
"Maybe it was because I had seen Sam Newman punch that guy in the face on The Footy Show, but something clicked and I jabbed the guy in the face and was grabbed by security and asked to leave."
A female friend of Millsy's smoothed things over and he was allowed to stay in the pub but soon after a policeman approached his table and took him to the local station.
"I was being charged with assault," says Mills.
"I couldn't believe it."
Getting off lightly, he was simply forced to apologise to the man and copped a lengthy lecture from the police
