Bad attitude does divas a disservice.
Dont expect last years A ustralian Idol runner up and young Diva Emily Williams to sparkle with a solo album any time soon .It seems that the former factory worker failed to impress at a recent top notch sony BMG conference. In front of the labels high flying executives in town ready to have their designer socks blown off by Williams, the P plated diva failed to dazzle.According to one observer who did not want to be named, she arrived looking dishevelled, a bit like she had been rehearsing all night but was oddly unprepared.
The performance went down badly with none of the crew feeling compelled to jump on the phone and announce to New York that they had found the next Beyonce. Also, a little out of favour with sony at present is Kate DeAurango and dont even mention the 2004 idol winner Casey Donovan.
The way Willams' stocks are it is a good thing the Young Divas including DeAurago, Paulini Curuenavuli and Ricki Lee Coulter, are doing so well.
They're about to embark on a 17-day national tour riding the success of their single This Time I Know It's For real.
Thats sad for Emily but she must have known how important this was going to be.
:( How sad.. Is anything happening with her album?? i thought she was signed??
