CHAMPION US surfer Kelly Slater is the latest superstar that is a likely starter for the Commonwealth Games.
Slater is being chased by organisers of the Last Lap to be the big-name guest on Tuesday, March 21, at QBH, for the Foster's beach and surf theme night.
The party coincides with the end of the swimming program.
All of Australia's top swimmers, including Melbourne boy Michael Klim, are expected to let loose.
On March 18, after the final of the NAB Cup, you can guarantee several footy players will turn up.
Singer Lee Harding will perform, and he hopes Australian athletes will be in the crowd.
"I'm very excited to be part of something so huge like the Commonwealth Games and can't wait to perform in front of all the gold medal-winning Aussies," Harding said.
"They perform well for their country so I want to perform well for them."
The Eye has seen the plans for four of the themed nights.
Organisers are spending a fortune to transform QBH into a world-class party venue.
On opening night next Wednesday, the club will feature giant boomerangs with an Uluru backdrop and a four-metre video screen with images of Australiana.
On March 17, a U2 cover band will play for the Irish theme night.
The room will be a sea of green.
The last themed night coincides with the Games' closing ceremony on March 26.
Appropriately, the entire room will be shimmering in gold.
